Who Needs A Backseat?
It’s been a busy day so far, but the nagging thought that won’t leave my mind is why some cars have a backseat if you can’t use it?
Case in point, the Lexus SC430, which is a grand touring convertible and not a practical machine in which you can seat four people, in theory. In practice, the rear seats are good for torsos but not legs. So the alternative is to toss luggage behind you, which is just as well because if you wish to put the roof down, it will occupy almost all of the space in the trunk.
Cars like this are selfish, so why add two seats if it can’t fit more people anyway? Conveying this logic makes it that much easier to buy a Miata, like I did. So go to your local dealer today and try one.
